I haven't bought it yet. I'm trying to finish up High Tea. I was surprised by your pick. Usually you don't pick this type of book. What made you pick it?

I went an bought the book and started to read it. i have read a chapter and half. It is kind of confusing with a lot of different names and areas all in different languages! They do have a directory of names and maps but too much work for me to look everything up! I am hoping, it gets easier to read!!!!

I don't mind waiting a little longer. I'm only a couple chapters in as well. It is a little difficult...I had to re-read a couple pages at least 4 times before I understood what was happening. It definitely requires your full attention and who can concentrate when we're anxiously waiting for Mia.

i fully support waiting longer. it's been a crazy couple of weeks and i'm leaving tomorrow so i won't be able to get any reading in.

It's probably time we meet on this book. Although I haven't read it. Does anyone have a meeting date in mind?

Mel said...

Yes, I agree V. Maybe having a date will force everyone to get on the ball. I'm free the first three weekends in May...

Yikes! I have to start reading. Mel stole my copy so if I don't have it finished...it's her fault. :)

Mom stole it from me. I'm only on page 87. Okay so this website has a chapter by chapter review of the book. You have to pay for the full review but a paragraph is available for free. Reading it helped solidify what I’d read. I realized after I read it that surprisingly enough I’ve been understanding what has been happening. You should check it out if you need cliff notes.
